CD Recorders,cdr-audio to mp3?

I have a harman kardon cd recorder that I mix down my tracks to.I can only record on the "special music cdrs.When I try to convert my tracks to mp3 the program says that it must be copyprotected.What program can I use to convert these analog files to mp3 or even wav or something I can work with digital.
