I have heard people converting the tracks in to the Edit screen after mix down to get CD quality. How do you do this. Is there a CD quality button you push? Forgive my ignorance.

After you've done your mixdown, it'll take you into Edit View. Click on 'Convert Sample Type'. You'll have various options for dithering down the mixdown. If you want CD quality, choose 44.1 KHz and 16-bit.
