Yes you can book, plan, put on your own shows. HOwever this may take some time to plan and hold. In the mean time, which is more effective?
--passing out free cds of your entire project
--passing out free cds of one or two songs, with well placed info. about where to pick up the whole project
To some extent, you should do both . . . . ? But what is that extent?
50 - 50 ?
70 - 30 ?
Any thoughts? Comments?
Has anyone in here employed a street team? I say "employed" b/c that's just what I mean - pay em!!!! as opposed to rellying on "fans" and "friends" of your music . . .
ONe more thing: If you have a $3000 budget (My goal for january) what are the most effective ways to use it--granted it aint diddily squat so one must be very careful about how to spend it
