Ok. My girlfriend is going to make a cd for an friend, and im recording it. its just a home recording, nothing spectacular, well she is but the recording isnt. But what format should i burn the cd. .mp3, .wav, or what. Im recording in Audacity, i dont know if that makes a difference

But don't make the file on the CD a wave file. Use your CD burning software like Nero, select "Create Audio CD" and it will take care of the rest. You should be able to play the CD in a regular CD player then.

Good Luck!

CD creator translates. You can drag MP3s into it too and it will convert them.

which is why if you look at the extension of a track of a CD in your CD drive....it will say .CDA
