cd burner

I'm looking into getting a cd burner (most likely external to save on the installation u know)...i'd like to know what ya'll recommend. also, i know most burners are 2.0 usb, but i have the normal usb 1 or 1.1 are there any "fast" 1.1 usb burners out there?

I dont keep up with external hardware, internal is faster, but I would recommend Yamaha or Plextor. No generic crap.

Tascam CRW700! 24 bit converters, capable of burning Orange & Red Book standard c/d's with extremely low, BLER's(Block Error Rates). Burns @ 2 &4x and at present street,$450, is an excellent unit.
Internally, Plextor is 2nd to none!
