Anyone have any experience with these?

I have been looking for a pair of inexpensive overheads and these caught my eye.

Anyone here familiar?

I know that someone around here had one of thie tube mics, but i cannot remember where I read that now.

...I have 2 of the Cascade V55 Valve mics (tube) which I'm quite happy with...but those were manufactured a few years ago when sE was helping out Cascade by manufacturing some of their product (my mics are from the sE run)...other than that, most of their stuff is of the "OEM" Chinese variety, at least up until their more recent "tweaked" ribbon offerings which are getting excellent reviews (Fat Head II in particular)...

Do you think 85 bucks is too much to pay for a pair of M37's?

I am seriously thinking about it. I figure how can you go wrong for 42.50 per mic?

On the other hand, I HAVE run into some mic's that are really THAT BAD.

...I'm sure they're probably decent for the price...the MXL 603 has become the standard for inexpensive SD overheads...but if you want a really inexpensive pair that get consistantly good reviews, check out (dare I say the "B" word) the Behringer C2 stereo pair for $50 delivered (with stereo bar included)...

...the reviews have actually been quite good... ;)

Someone should do a shoot-out between those Behringers and Niaint small-ds that have been getting so much buzz...

As for Cascade, I have an older, non-tube large diaphram condenser that's a little bright but works as well as many other of the sub-$200 condenser's I've owned.

Any experience with these??

This looks like a great deal if the mics aren't garbage....
anyone try these out yet?
