Hey, just curious if anyone has used or heard anything about Carvin mixers. The SM162, in particular, caught my eye. I have been looking for a decent priced 8+ ch. mixer with sends and returns on each channel so that I can record an ADAT without having to re-patch for monitoring. At $300, it seems to offer what I need in a decent package. If anyone has used this or other carvin mixers, or has a better suggestion for a decently priced mixer, please drop me a post!

Beringher is about the same quality. I have used a carvin for live sound. It's sound was ok decent EQ for the price.
Most of the time you get what you pay for.Check into Allen Heath, not sure of thier price range though.
