I made a stupid mistake that I want to give you the opportunity to avoid. In drawing a volume evolution, I accidently crossed lines. You can do this without noticing it if you're going down and up quickly.

Apparently, the laws of physics prevented me from going backwards in time (at least without much more sophisticated software) and N-track became concerned that I would cause the Universe to explode. I WAS able to play back the track in question, but whenever I tried to mix it down (either alone or with other tracks), all I would get is a bright red field with no wav. It took me about a week to figure out what the problem is, and unfortunately, I can't recover that time (as N-track has taught me). So be advised!

Hold on Larry
You know that the .wav files reside on your hard drive and not the program.Unless you rendered the process to the wave you can recover.Just delete the problem track(s) and freshly re-import the same wave(s) from your file folder. Then give 'er another shot.

Thanks, Tom, I knew that. I didn't mean to say that I lost the wav files, just that I lost a week trying to figure out what the f*ck the problem was. A week ago I was ready for my final mixdown, which I will now complete this weekend. On the bright side, it was definitely a learning experience.

Good luck on the mastering phase.
On a side note,it is a good idea to archive your older builds as you upgrade to the new ones.I have noticed a tendency with Flavio, who is always rushing out new features, not to be fully backwards compatable. In effect,we are his beta testers. So sometimes an older project can hickup or have problems when opened with the new build.
Keep on trackin'
