Hey, Im a complete beginner to this recording malarky and the only thing I have is a mini-disc with a wee mic on it. Heres a few MP3's (including a Neil Young cover) we recorded on the minidisc.

Santa is bringing me a four-track and an SM58 so hopefully we'll get something with better quality. (probably not much better quality cos its only a wee fourtrack but its a start!)

Hi,

I'm listening to crested angel , performance wise this is not to bad @ al
but the sound is horrible, mabe try the next time 2 put the vocals a bit more upfront..

All good thing: song and performance are ok, the balance of the guitar and vocals are a bit better

the same old blues: the microphone (can i call it that ) is overloading

Out on the weekend:again nice song, the leadguitar needs a bit of practice

Even with a 'wee fourtrack' you can get decent sound, it's going to be a big diff. comparing a minidisk

Hey man, thanks for taking the time to listen. As I've said, they're only a very rough draft with a minidisc. Hopefully we can get something right with the four-track. Can't wait till Christmas now!!

I'll maybe post something on here when it's recorded for some feedback.
