can't upgrade to Acid Pro 3.g

I downloaded it and after installing it, I was asked for a serial # wich I LOST! Now Im stuck with the DEMO version - Jeez, I should have kept the old version - Anyone got a serial number for me to use? (dont worry I dont register ANYTHING due to laziness)
 
If you paid for it by credit card you should be able to prove that to Sonic Foundry. I'm certain they will reissue you the serial #.

Also- look for your order confirmation #. That might be faster.

Always print out that stuff IMMEDIATELY when you buy a D/L version. If you don't have a printer- USE A PENCIL! It won't take that long to protect your investment.

Simply for the record, I am a legal, registered user of Acid Pro 3.0. I bought 2.0 and got the upgrade to 3.0 for free.

I recently moved and *thought* I lost my manual. Come to find out it was in a box that it shouldn't have been in. Anyway, for what it is worth, I simply e-mailed Sonic Foundry tech support and explained my situation. I gave them my name, phone number, address, previous address (where the upgrade was sent) and previous phone number. I had a new serial number in my inbox in less that 24 hours.

Now, normally I keep all my serial numbers in a central location with the install CDs. Unfortuneately, I procrastinated on doing this with Acid and freked out thinking I had lost the number :rolleyes:

I am a registered pro2 user and I would love any FREE upgrade.

If you dont mind me asking, how were you able to upgrade to 3.0 for free???

Am I missing something?? I thought it was some bucks to upgrade?

Before 3.0 was released, but at least announced, Sonic Foundry offered a free upgrade to 3.0 with the purchase of 2.0 Pro. I took advantage of that offer.
