Can't play track in edit mode?

For some reason AA1.5 won't let me play a track when I'm in edit mode, I've done it before until I added my tascam us122 (which is really good) and it won't let me now. This is probably a simple check box. Any ideas anyone?

If it will play, but there's no sound, you haven't assigned a playback device for Edit View. Go to Options/Device Order/Wave Out, highlight an output pair in the "Use" column on the right, and tick "Use In EV."

If the cursor won't move, you have a Pause button depressed somewhere.
