Can't monitor from soundcard

Hi everyone. I have an audiophile card and a 10" Rack-Mount 2-Channel Stereo Mixer:

I can't find a way to monitor the sound from my pc to my mixer. I have my mixer hooked up to the audiophile and i only can hear sound from my left speaker. Also, my soundcard won't let me monitor the music from my mixer while um recording. It says the device is already in use.

Any help would be appreciated. Thx in advance.
 
what software are you using to record? just exactly how do you have everything connected?
 
Sounds like you need to turn on FULL DUPLEX. That allows it to record and play at the same time. I would think the drivers would set that by default but maybe not.
 
Ok, i found out one problem i had. I did'nt go into the audiophile mixer and put both dots on Monitor. (left side & right side). Now i can get both of my speakers to work and can monitor my voice through my mixer.

The only problem i have now is that i can't monitor my voice while i hear the music playin' in my headphones through my mixer. And everytime i use a program like "Winamp" to play the sound loops so i can listen to them while i record, my pc instantly freezes.

I need to know how you all monitor the sounds while you recording. Maybe i'm doing something wrong. :(
