My friend let me borrow his midi device and I recorded some tunes. The way we recorded was that I got 1 midi track and 2 audio tracks.
He then showed me in session view that I could just drop effects and instruments on to the midi track and create many more sounds.
But now when I try to do it, I can’t get it to work. It is like no information is coming through the midi track. The green volym bars are just dead even if I tried to higher them up.
I have tried to make a new midi track and copy the tune down there and then it worked but just for the moments I pressed the keys. Even if I drag out the notes in the piano part it only plays just when I hit.
I feel like there is one button I need to press to make the information come through, but I have been pressing what I can and trying to change the presets too but I can’t make it work.
Any ideas?
