First off forgive me for my bad english as im not a native speaker
i have encountered a problem during recording with my samplitude x pro.
i recorded using a miditech audiolink 3 interface, i plugged in my guitar and recorded a few takes.
the program clearly shows waves / etc that signifies that my guitar is being recorded, but whenever i try
to play it, i cant hear it.
i went to system options > playback > global play device and i cant find my computers built in speakers on the options.
i duno whether am i doing it right D:
i hope anyone could help me in this situation as im still a beginner at these stuffs and i was so excited to get started :(

You have a pretty high end software, what is your interface you are using for recording? I am also assuming Win7? If you can provide some details, would help us help you.

im currently using "Miditech Audiolink III" for my recording and yes i do run in win7 64bit

Make sure you have installed the ASIO drivers. Even though it states it is not required, what they are saying, it is not required for use as a USB device. For ASIO, it requires the drivers installed. In the software, make sure you are selecting the ASIO device for both input and output.

Once selected, the sound is being routed out to the MIDITeck, so either plug your headphones in to the device's headpbone jack to hear the sounds, or plug in your external monitors to the Line Out puts of the device. Make sure the software is routing to the device and you are monitoring the device. It will not go through the computers sound card nor do you want it to as your device is a much higher quality sound device.

Hope that helps.

ohh~ so it means i must listen it through the audio interface then.. and i have already done all the followings u said beforehand, thank you for pouring some time in writing the replies really really much appreciated
