can't get any sound out of cool edit pro??

Hi all

New to Cool Edit Pro and I can't seem to set it up with my midi equipment. I've got an electric piano, midi cable and soundblaster audigy with my synths installed on it, but Cool Edit won't pick up anything I play. Other programmes do.

I've been into the device manager etc but there was no ray of light.

Anyone any ideas as to why this might be so???

Cool Edit

I'm having the same problem, and wondered if you had any success solving yours. I'd appreciate any tips or advice.

Cool Edit 2.0 will play midi tracks, but it won't record them.
