i just got a fostex multitracker 280 without the manual...and i can't figure out how to get the thing to record. If anyone could piont me in the right directions it would be appreciated.

If you don't see it on the page, click on the "Contact Us" link and you can request a manual. They usually charge about $10-$15 US, but they will send you the manual.
I didn't see anything about the 280, so it may be discontinued. They still have the manual if you email them and ask for it, however.
