Help me. I can't export, everytime I try to it says I need to set the left and right locators. But I thought that I did. By the way I am using Cubase LE.

There should be something looking like a white triangle pointing down at the bar above the track layouts, where the timing is indicated. (here, right below "part colors" is a similar view of it.) Pull each side of that triangle to the left and right sides of the tracks, and it should highlight the space in between. That highlighted area is what will be exported. Make sure you set the left locator all the way to zero, and the right locator just a little past the last part of the tracks, that way nothing gets cut out during export.

Hope that helps! Good luck! ;)

You also need to make sure that the highlighted area between the locate markers is blue, and not red. If it is red that means you set the start marker past the end marker.

I think something about this specific Cubase problem should be posted as a sticky. I can not even remember how many times this exact problem has been posted.

I had the same problem, turns out i'm retarded and inverted the locators...not saying you're retarded or anything.

yeah, i think I found that. That Is really not obviuos thing, that I couldnt every find in the manual. It always just said to set them but never siad how.

Just for future reference, reversing the locators is useful when you want to specify a region that you want Cubase to skip over during playback.
