That's pretty bleak. Here's an idea: now write a song about that same guy that does a similar cross-section of his personality, but in the context of something that makes his life worthwhile. You know how to put words and music together.
 
I've tried that... It was a miserable failure.

It's much easier to just be myself ;)
 
I've never found it easier to be myself. Not really. Not when I'm honest. And nobody complains when I'm honest with myself. Which is just as well, cuz it's none of their fucking business.
 
It doesn't sound like you're looking for a whole lot of mix advice at this point. But it sounds like a good start.

I like the acoustic guitar part. Maybe on the track you could have that acoustic part on one side, and an electric guitar part on the other. Just a thought.

I've already tuned up the Strat with just a weee-bit of drive 8-)
