Hello,
I've read about active noise cancelation and things like that and I was wondering about something.
If I have some clip that has BGM and some SFX on it and I have the BGM itself in MP3 form, would it be possible to generate some sort of opposite waveform that, when overlayed on the clip, would get rid of (most of) the BGM, leaving just the SFX? I realize perfect result is impossible but at least in theory, it should be able to minimize the BGM and help isolate at least some of the SFX, shouldn't it? Or am I on a completely wrong track here?
And if it is possible, how would I go about generating such waveform? I've looked online but found nothing about this and Audacity can generate just simple waveforms.
Thank you for any help or info you can offer
