I am new to this program and was wondering if there is a metronome so you can count in before you record or set up a bpm. thanks,james

It depends on which version of vegas pro that you have. If you have the older one, you're out of luck. The 2.0 version however does have a lot of added features including a metronome.

Yes version 2.0, the Vegas Audio version has a metronome. I just use a MIDI generated tone as a metronome. Works just as well, just an extra step.
