Can you name the mics? See 22 images of stars in studio.

See the mics top singers are really using. Some are the same, some easy to tell, but it's fun anyway to know who's using what. Guess the 22 mics and don't hesitate to confirm or refute someone else's guess.

5- is JC Chasez of NSYNC; 15- is Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day; 18- is Kelly Clarkson; 21- is Jon Bon Jovi

Well, 12 is an SM7, and the rest look like.... mics. I mean - I see a few that look like they could be a C800 or some flavor of Neumann... but they could just as easily be any of the billion mics that look just like them. I guess if the pics were clear enough to tell which, though - we would just be reading the names off of them, since that's about the only way I'm aware of to visually distinguish a neumann or a highend Sony from one of their many, many clones.... I'm interested to see if somebody else knows otherwise.

Im getting old...I only recognised 3 of the artists...and Mariah just because she looked like a chick I was banging in HS.
 
Having a less compressed image with correct aspect ratios might help. I recognize about half of the female artists. The mics, not so much. Although I think that most of those go for more than I currently have invested in a field recorder, a stereo pair of mics, and an HD camcorder combined.

Some of the mics that look like a U87 are actually a U67.

I am surprised people don't guess more, they are high end mics and most are easily recognizable, just by the body shape. Once identified, any surprise regarding who's using what?

Josh Groban sings in a pencil, Meat Loaf and Celine use the same mic, same as for Bon Jovi and Mariah.

Weird...Meatloaf and Avril both share birthdays with me...I didnt recognise neither in the pics...just Springsteen...Elton...and Mariah...did I mention in my senior year at HS the girl I was nailing looked exactly like early 90s Mariah...I just thought Id brag about that again...lol.
