Can you critique my rap vocal mix?

I have just a verse for a song here, and rap vocals give me the hardest time... Im finding many problems with the mix, and I also find the overall sound to sound far from bright and very muddy... not sure why it sounds like this after I bounce it from Pro Tools... listen to it and let me know, thanks in advance:

The mix sounds good to me, there's really only the guitar and the voice so as long as the voice is audible your good. The mix seemed lacking in volume, I'm turned up all the way here and that's usually too loud but not with this tune. Thats an easy fix with a compressor or limiter though. The problem you describe as far as your sound after mixdown changing usually has to do with your monitoring. Some monitors have adjustable bass and treble so you can compensate for the difference, you might want to look into that or try mixing on headphones and then re-checking the mix on your monitors after. Anyways the vocal sounded fine to me -good phrasing and strong delivery.
