My name is Nora and I work for eBay on the Classification team. Because you've contacted us with suggestions to improve the Pro Audio section, I'm writing to you today to get your input about some changes we are planning to make to our Pro Audio categories.
As you have probably noticed, our current structure is an attempt to consolidate the equipment used by several groups: musicians in the studio; musicians performing live on stage; DJs, and non-musical theater productions. Because these groups often use similar equipment, the categories were gathered into one Pro Audio & Stage Effects section.
After hearing from yourself and other buyers & sellers of these items, we're planning to make another change to recognize that these musicians and performers are not necessarily shopping in the same parts of the site.
In Musical Instruments, we're returning the categories containing items used by musicians in the studio and on stage. The structure will look like this:

In Electronics, we'll keep sections for DJs and for Stage Lighting, but separate them and place them more visibly:

We're planning to release these changes in the fall, and we'd love to get your feedback on this plan so we have a chance to incorporate your suggestions into the design.
