Yep, Eddie's gettin' old.

Looks like he's been ridden hard, and put up wet. :eek:
 
He also has Cancer,... so he is deteriorating rapidly.....
 
Ouch, tongue cancer. He announced himself cancer-free a couple of years ago.

It was never completely gone and is in his lyphatic system, and spreading.... :eek:

Very unfortunate for him and all his fans......

Right On brother. what more can you say. re-play that clip with your lights down and your eyes closed. Almost made me cry to think about him being sick.

If you've ever questioned why a tube amp sounds the best....... hear is your answer.

It (amp) responded to his every pick and finger technique with clear and precise sound. He had at least 6 totally differnt sounds or gain stages just by turnign his volume knob. you wont ever get that feel with a SS.

Also proving that feel is more important than technique. He has it both down.

He's a god among men when it comes to guitar. I still listen to Cathedral and am blown away that he did that with a guitar.

Ah, I thought he was that hot girl behind him... I was looking at the wrong person in the photo.

There would have been no Van Halen without him, that's for sure... Talent on loan from God.
 
are those his dentures in his right hand (at the bottom of the picture)? he looks like he's about to gum someone to death!
