can tascam DP-24 play audio loops automatically?

I mean if I load audio loops prepared on RC-30 or computer
can they be played automatically or I have to set in and out points and use repeat button?

the Tascam will want to use it's own Repeat + in/out points, as you mention.

for what it's worth, the words 'loop' and 'region' don't even appear in the DP-32 manual (DP-32 is essentially identical to the DP-24)

well of course the old standby is to simply copy and paste your repetitions in manually if you know exactly how many you need, that should work seamlessly.
