Can someone tell me, what is the recording format of the BOSS BR-8 ?

I'm confused about this.

Also, i want to know how many time can i record, per each track with a 100MB disk.

i mean, recording 8 tracks at the same time, how many time can i hold up on each track ?

Each track uses 1/8 of 54min, so if using all 8 tracks, you'll get about a 5 min song. You can convert the 100mb zip drive to a 250mb or possibly a 750mb, check this link http://www.olywa.net/blame/mwn/br8.htm .
