I normally compose on a KORG N364 Keyboard and ouput to the mixer. I daon't have a studio facility of my own but plans to start a home studio.

The tracks in the Korg are saved as .sng files onto a floppy disk for storage. I tried to open this .sng files in the n-track shareware version in my computer through the 'open .sng file' command, but could'nt and the reply was wrong or old file format.
If I am able to do this, it will be a matter of great convenience. What is the r4ason for the .sng files not responding? Can someone help me in this?

simple, the Korg and n-track happened to use the same file extension, but it's not at all the same file format. How could it be, when the Korg is all MIDI and n-track is all audio?

All you have to do is "play" your mixed MIDI songs from the Korg into n-track (while recording on n-track in stereo) and you'll capture that audio, then just do the rest of the mixing on n-track.
