can i plug this in???

i have a samson mdr6 mixer. 2 of the channels are xlr with a gain control right below that. the other 2 channels (or 4 really) are xlr with a 1/4" input under that. i guess they are supposed to be both pluged into from a pre amp for stereo or sumthing im not too sure of.

what i was wondering though, is if i can plug 1 microphone into the xlr and 1 into the 1/4" on the same channel (sort of) at the same time without hurting the mixer.

I'm not familar with the Samson MDR6 mixer... but, on most mixers you can normally only use either the line or the mic channel input... but, not both at the same time.
