Can I pencil drums in sonar

I would like to know if I can pencil drums in sonar like I do in cubase in the drum editor.

Yeah there's a pointer/pencil you use to click the notes in the staff.

The way to do it in Sonar is to use a drum map, then route your midi to the map. Then when you open the midi track in "piano roll" mode, you'll see the individual drum items on the left instead of keyboard keys. Use the draw tool to draw in the notes ...

Yea, I just used the step sequencer and the ability to use layers within the track is excellent. Very easy and fast. Thanks for your reply.
