Can I listen to 16 tracks at once?

I've been lurkin here, reading quite a bit (whats up with that search thing anyway? if i enter more than one word i get a "you didnt enter the minimum 4 word" error? ).
I have a Korg D16 and would like to continue recording into it, but, then i would like to transfer all 16 tracks to my computer via opticle to edit the tracks seperately in one of the programs you all use. Since I do not plan on using the sound card for recording in guitar etc, I am assuming the Audiophile will be fine.
BUT, will i be able to edit the seperate tracks in say Qubase/cakewalk/ntrack/whatever and then be able to listen to all 16 tracks at the same time as i mix down?

Depends on computer, software, and your ability to get all 16 tracks synched up once in the computer. I'm no expert on any of these categories but I'd guess anything 500mhz and up would have no problem assuming you have a decent 7200 harddrive. The software issue is easy- just check how many tracks it supports.

The last question is the tuffy. I've never actually tried to import multitracks from an external machine. You should start another thread on this question. The current question is too vague.

I believe in order to have 16 discreet tracks to work with on your computer, you have to export them from thr Korg as 16 discreet tracks, meaning your sound card would have to have 16 inputs to do them all at once. I have heard of people doing smaller batches or even a single track at a time, then lining them up timewise once they're in your computer.
