I want to link them together like one huge soundcard. Is that doable? It's just so I can record all my drum mics onto separate tracks simultaneously. I haven't bought the 1010lt yet.

rad, thanks. how can i assign the outputs, can i have a main mix output on both cards? so i can run to two sets of speakers or whatever else?

That depends on the software you are using to record with. That goes for inputs also. The recording software will take over control of all soundcards in the system, letting you select inputs/output from there.

Hmmmmm, well Im using Cubase SX, i dont know if you can give me any advice with it. Thanks a lot man.

Delta 1010 w/ Quattro USB

I've got a Delta 1010 card and Sonar 2.2 I use w/ my desktop. I am planning to get an M-Audio Quattro USB Audio interface
to use with my laptop for occasional remote recording and MIDI.

Question: On the occasion where I need more than 8 analog inputs to Sonar on my desktop system, will I be able to
connect the Quattro via USB and use at the same time as my Delta 1010?

Thanks for your help,

TT

You should be able to do it, although sometimes certain devices don't play nice together. There's a zillion people using combinations like a Soundblaster and an Audiophile successfully.
