Can I import ProTools sd2 files into Cubase SX (PC ver)?

Hi there!

I have Cubase SX, and last year my band recorded some sessions in a ProTools studio. I want to be able to edit those files and remix them in Cubase PC version.

Any ideas if I can. It says I can import sd2 when I choose file type, but I've been told it won't work. Any experience with this?

I'm pretty sure the only way to get Pro Tools files into Cubase (and vice versa) is to set your beginning and end points, export each track to .wav one at a time, and reimport them into the other program.

I have no idea what an sd2 file is. (shrug) It doesn't have anything to do with cubase that I know of.
