Can I go from a SB LIVE! to my CD burner?

I have a SB LIVE! and a RICOH MP7040A CD burner.

Can I go straight from this Soundcard to the burner...digitally.....or would I be netter recording wavs....and putting them on Cd with Easy cd creator?

Which is best?

It's highly advantageous to create .wav files first and monitor them, tweak them, normalize them, etc. before burning them to CDR. Consumer CDR standalones can burn straight from the I/O channels to CDR. But this is a disadvantage disguised as an advantage.
