I have a track with a shitty kick drum (who doesn't have one?).
I want to trigger a sampled one and for that I have a thing called Midi Kitti Pro, that's a trigger to midi convertor.

The question is: how do I mic that track to the trigger's input? I can't do it with a piezo (like the usual triggers), right?
Should I play it back in a speaker and record it with a mic? Wouldn't that hurt the trigger's input cause maybe the mic's input is too much for it? Do you think the trigger can handle if I directly plug a line out to it?

Cheers, Andrés

maybe...

I know the older roland units (and maybe Alesis D-4) back in the day would accept an SM-57 cuz I used to use on on my snare to trigger sounds live. Don't know if that helps you though..

Is the midi Kittie made by the Drum Kat people?

hey thanks! It's like you built their website, you find everything fast :-)

So they can get mics. Great. I wander if I could feed a line out to them. Should that be too riské?

I wish sometime I could get a manual of this black box. It's hard to understand.
