I've been reading alot of stuff here , and would like to get some practical experience . My question is kind of hard to get worded right , so I'll just throw the idea out here and see what you all think. I'd like to make a recording of my drums and then post it dry. Then add the finishing touches as recomended by you all. Kind of turn it into a collab effort/lesson thing?? Does that make any sense? Was thinking of a 1 minute song type thing? Is anyone intersted in doing that? Is there a better forum to post it too? ( I like this one the best ) I have pretty good recording equipment, and just the effects that come with Sonar 1.3 . A demo version of Ozone that sounds good but only good for 40 second clips at a time....I read the thread on the collaboration logistics and that kind of got me going on this.....

That dont sound like a bad idea. You might get some good feedback on your first drum mix if needed, and regroup for another shot. Thats what I do... :)

ok, I'll have a 1:19 mp3 posted in a minute . It was recorded a couple weeks ago in three tracks in Sonar 1.3 It's completely dry. all of the levels are at -3.1 db so hopefully that is ok. I'll start a new thread with the link to it in a minute.....it's 256 also, converted from a exported wav. file using musicmatch jukebox.
