Can Behringer's preamps produce Neve-like results?

My niece told me that Behringer uses's a secret formula in their pre's making them the best of 'em all out there!

In addition, my niece (who's 11 1/2 years old) told me that Rupert Neve's cousin's wife neighbors'grandmother purchased 4 of them
and stated that Beh's pre's will make Grace101's sound like Gross 666's!

If the Neve in question is horribly, horribly broken, well then sure.

This Neve you speak of, is it a PA? Maybe a blender of some sort.
 
i've had the T1953 pre sounding much better than a few HHB and Presonus preamps.. can it compare to a neve..no...
it can't compare to a avalon, Fern...pres in the soundcraft ghost.. but they don't sound like ass either
 
With both units In the off position the results are identical.

There is no secret to Neve performance. They are very old technology. Behringer make far better pre-amps that outperform Neve by a whole bunch.

Another secret: Focusrite was started and owned by Rupert Neve.
Look to their pre-amps for real Neve performance.
 
Maybe if it was totally rebuilt with Mattel transformers, 22 gage wires and was thrown out of an airplane 100 times...??Maybe.

Listen strange leaf, If you don't understand the reason by these so-called Behringer threads that most do and why MrQ is posting them, kindly do a search or shut the Eff up!!
 
Why don't you enlighten me ? A search for Behringer would prolly bring up 1000+ posts.

Also, I guess I got you two mixed up, since you have the same avatar. For that I am sorry. :o

But I still can't see the use of endless nonsense threads.
 
There is no need to apologize.

These threads I posted was my own type of complaint/protest against Behringer's B.S. products(most, not all) and lack of Customer Service.
Along with sending off a flamed e-mail to Behringer, I'm hoping that one of their reps visits this forum and posts some sort of rebuttal to my obnoxious threads.
