Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn about microphones?

I want to learn basically everything I can about them.
Anyone know of a site to get me going in the right direction? How do they manipulate the sound? What's the differences in capsules? How are they made?

I actually did not. But now that I'm looking at them, I see one that would answer some questions, but not all. I just figured that someone would know of some site that had like, everything there is to know about microphones or something like that.
