Hi there, I am a newbie to home recording and trying to get a basic studio together. I've everthing that I need.... everything except a power cord to Mixing desk!! . The mixing desk I have is quite old (Spirit Folio by SoundCraft) and I can't find a cord for it anywhere. I have checked online, including the Soundcraft site, sent emails(no reply), yet still unable able find out where I can get this cord or what it is called.

Please help :) . I have attached a photo of what the input for the power cord look like.

If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it.

Cheers,

Eddie :)

find someone who owns one and get the specs for the adaptor. I wonder why it's 3 conductors. look on Ebay for a seller or a prior seller or buyer from closed auctions and try to contact them for the specs. At last resort, open it up and read the print on the pc board for specs.

I'm a Soundcraft dealer so can order you one from Soundcraft for around $40.00. I need to know what model it is.

I love this place!!!! :D

not sure if this helps, but from what I can see the middle pin is your ground...if it was my mixer I'd find out what the voltage is and fabricate a damn cord myself

It might be worth taking to a shop and having a standard IEE power cord receptacle in it...that way you could always easily find a replacement.

Just get it from deepwater. $40 is a good deal. Making it yourself will be a complete pain in the ass and expensive. Or try to find one on ebay or something.

LPDeluxe- good idea but that thing uses a wall wart in the middle of the cord. They made the p/s offboard to keep the cost down.

HI there, is your mixing desk a spirit folio 4?
If it is and you find out what power supply you need could you let me know?
Cheers

Andy
