Can anyone explain the time?

On audition 2 if I can remember correctly the time would count normally if you wanted it to. IE. the real time and length of a song. How come it doesnt now? When I put it to decimal time the scale shows hms on the bottom and its definitely not counting the length of a recording.

I dont get all the different time stuff at all. The audition manual doesnt explain any of it either just explains how to change stuff. lol

Not sure whats going on I think im having problems with my sound card. Maybe thats why things are reading wrong. Hmmm... Now I got some guitards recorded that are very slowed down. Like a 6 minute recording that stretches to 24 minutes.
 
I think its something to do with Adobe Bridge. Stupid arse program. Because this happened after I accidentally opened bridge to view files etc.

I think I just have to keep ONLY audition open when recording. Cant do anything else that might try to grab my mackie sound device.

Hmmm... could be anything. IM running windows 7 x64
