can any one help me with my jv1080..?

hi.....i have a roland jv1080 module.....hooked up to my mpc drum machine,and i want to use multi channels.at the moment everytime i change the midi channel on my jv for example set channel one on the mpc and the on the jv,when i get do the same for chnnel 2 midi channel one is lost.im not sure if im inthe right mode,im using the patches and combi modes,

also im lost to how to save the patches ive used,for example,if i have used a bunch of presets how do i call them back up when ive switched off.and can i name it as a song.

ive read the manual,but to know avail.i have no expansions or pcm cards.

would be very grateful if someone could help........

maybe you have to go in your modules menu and look to see something with midi and then it may say multi or poly or somethin the problem is definatley from the module and its just a matter of you makin that change
