Unpossible!
I am trying to find a Marshall power amp that is a) stereo b) tube, and c) low power. Ideally I'd like a 2x18 watt with el84's. Did they make such a beast?

Also, i am looking for a 2x12 cabinent that can run in mono or stereo that has celestions in it. what marshall model would that be? 1936 maybe?

Thanks in advance!

:D

Bo don't know diddly 'bout marshall's but EL84's are tasty! I really dig the way they break up, nice and early and a gritty sound when you lean on them. Not only that, you can do it without Johnny Law showing up at your door giving you the "it's too loud" talk.

Consider this a gratuitous bump.

I don't know of any low watt marshall tube power amps. I'm positive that you could get an amp builder to fix you up with a low watt el84 power amp or the whole shebang. I would imagine that a stereo amp is going to be pretty pricey. Any particular reason why it needs to be stereo?

I'm not sure if any of the 2x12 marshall cabs are wired stereo. If not, it's not hard to do with any cab.

Nice find! It's power amp, so you'll need to come up with a pedal or pre-amp driver dealio but with that arrangement, you'll have all kinds of flexibily.

Dont know if this is any help.

But look up the Peavey Classic series.

There were a few models.

I for one had a 50/50 power amp, I used both a marshall pre and a Boss gx700 through it sounded great.
Very nice to record, it handeled low volumes great, as well as it handled loud rock`n roll.

One of the better amps I`ve owned.
