Callibration in Wisconsin/Chicago???

Hey,
Im looking for a place that does calibrations on reel to reel machines somewhere in east central Wisconsin or possiblely Chicago. Mainly on the Tascam 38-8 that I havent bought yet but plan on and I will probably want to get it professionally calibrated. Any help or experience will be appreciated...

Hey Marty,

Well, no, I don't do calibrations. (Not yet, at least. I'm still a newbie to the R2R world. I just acquired my first one, a Tascam 42B, and I'm waiting to be able to afford a few things I need first --- take-up reel, hub adapter, etc.)

I just saw your post and thought I'd find out where you were.

However, when I do find someone that does it, I'll be sure to let you know.

I'm kind of a DIY person though, myself, so I'll probably research it and see if it's something I can do on my own.
