cakewalk/soundblaster live

I am having trouble with my cakewalk program,and I know that the trouble is me.I like to create sequences on cakewalk to play guitar along with.I am using cakewalk gold with the soundblaster live soundcard.I have never grasp the concept of soundfont tech.or how to use them.In short,I am using the sounds that are provided in my cakewalk program.I need better sounds,mainly drums/basses.elect.guitars.I guess I am asking where and how to get these new sounds on to my cakewalk program.any help would be apreciated.strat284
 
The Cakewalk program has no sounds. The soundcard does.

It uses a sample format called Sound Fonts. You can get many good ones from Hammersound and Sonic Implants. You load them using the Sound Blaster's control software.
