Hello everyone...here is the situation. I am looking to produce rock/Alternative rock style music as well as dance. I will try to explain myself the best I can.

I am looking for a product that I can make my own original style of music instead of a program that provides already made music. I am looking for a program that will provide all kinds of music instruments like the guitar, Bass, keyboard, drums etc. as well as provide different sounds of the instruments that I can choose from and put it together to make a song. As of right now I think Cakewalk Project5 is what I am looking for. I did try out the product and so far so good. I have to go further to see if it is really what I am looking for. Right now I am not planning on using any live equipment, just virtual for now.

Do you think Project5 is the one? Or how about Reason3, Cubase and etc? Thank you for any help you can give.

Give reason a try...

I think its a little more popular and you can get more sounds for it I would imagine.

I mean I always hear about people using Reason never heard much of a poop about Project 5 which I believe is based off reason.
