Cakewalk pro 9 in windows 2000

I just set up a newer pc I bought on e bay (great deal) problem is o\s is windows 2000 and I previously used virtual piano for my drum tracks and synth work. Bad news for windows 2000 virtual piano not supported in windows 2000. Any sugestions aside from buying a midi keyboard?

I'm not familiar with 'virtual piano' but it sounds like an on-screen keyboard that you play with either the mouse or the typing keyboard. If you got such a good deal on the PC then you've probably got a little left over to splash out $99.95 on this:

hmm.. i'd probably go with installing Windows XP.. you can probably get it for at least as cheap as $100.. probably less...

win2k and midi

Been using win2k and my m-audio keystation 61es with n-track software; works just great. Only runing 256mg of ram with an older AMD cpu and a USB 2.0 hub with the keyboard, it's all good
