Cakewalk GT exportation problems

I got a Johnson Jstation, and it came w/ full version of Guitar Tracks 1.02. I used GT2 demo for a while, and it was good for me.

Anyway, I recorded a track a few days ago w/ 1.02 and exported to audio (wav) and it came out at good volume. But I recorded a track last nite and it came out REALLY low. I had to install my old copy of SoundForge and normalize the wav to get the sound loud enough. Can anyone explain why? In guitar tracks, playback is at perfect volume, but in exporting it it gets cut A LOT. And from there I go to soundforge and boost it.

Any ideas?

And, I'm going to try and get a Midiman 2448 audio card for s/pdif, does that work properly w/ Guitar Tracks 1.02?

Does GuitarTracks do DirectX plugins?
I know soundforge can, so if GT can't thats ok. Can aynone point me to some free plugins? I've heard of some called TapeWarmer, TubeEmulator things liek that.

Thanks :)

i think i forgot to add that the 1st clip i believe was recording into the mic in...then i learned line in would be better....the 2nd clip was recording in the line in.
