Man, size really matters. I had to really shrink it down to get it past the size restriction.
Oh well, now I'm a real get-a-lifer.

Chuck, life should have taught you by now that size always matters ......and welcome to the "must get a life" club;)

Although a lot of people claim to have been at the concert when jimi and spock jammed I was actually there.
A lot of debate has gone on about who was the better player but I'd have to give Mr.Spock the edge, this may enrage some jimi fans out there but I think they are taken in because spock did'nt have the stage moves like jimi.;)

On the other hand, many felt that Spock's playing was clinical and "lacked emotion." But his time was kick-ass.

Do you all remember when this forum was about CW and recording? Seems so long ago now...............this is much more fun though.:)

Actually, Spock's playing was quite advanced for the time. In fact, many felt it was as if he wasn't fully human.

Apparantly (and I have this on good authority) he kept his plectrums in his ears.

I believe Spock only used Logic rather than Cakewalk products.

Good one.:D
Hopefully, the Enterprise computer wasn't running Windows, since I'm sure the Romulans found numerous ways to hack it.

The Enterprise computer was stricken with dropouts and crackling.
You'd always hear Scotty yelling at Kirk"cap'n ah dunt think she kin take any mur tracks!"

LOL acidrock :D:D:D

the Enterprise computer wasn't running Windows

i heard the other day that NASA are looking for old puter chips for the Space Shuttle.

cheers
John

Bloody hell John, I knew NASA had to cut costs but thats ridiculous.......

It's actually true - apparently there are certain intel chips used in the shuttle and they have run out of them. They were issued in the original 386 puters I gather. :):)

cheers
john

Actually, I can understand that pretty well. Railtrack here in the UK have maintenance contracts for their extensive signalling system that involve maintaining 286 based machines, including the provision of spares. Of course, you cannot buy many of the more critical components from the manufacturers anymore so a nice little growth industry has started buying up and/or refurbishing redundant stocks of old chips, plugs and sockets etc. which are then sold at astronomical prices. Its a funny world :)
