For some reason in cakewalk 9.0 when i assign "gigasamper endless wave" as my MIDI output port it does not play back any of my old .WAV audio files that i already have in a cakewalk .WRK file but when i switch back to my default MIDI output port (MIDI out delta-1010) all my old audio files play but i don't have access to the gigasampler sounds.
Why is that?
this is a quote i got from cakewalk.
"If you intend to record or play audio in Pro Audio and use Gigasampler LE simultaneously, you must have a soundcard with two audio outputs or two soundcards each with one audio output. This is because both Pro Audio and Gigasampler require exclusive use of a stereo audio output driver"
I have 2 soundcards. The Delta-1010 and the MOTU 2408 both are gigasampler compatible. I have the latest drivers for both.
If anyone can shead some light on this for me because i really wanna to use Gigasampler with Cakewalk but i still wanna be able to use audio files in my mix.
thankz
