I am totally new to home recording and I wanted to get started using some of the equipment I already have. I have a pentium 133 computer with a 1.6 gig hard drive, but when I started to order CW Home Studio 9 I saw that it required at least pentium 200 so I thought that maybe an earlier version would work on my computer. I found CW 7 on e-bay and bid on it but it did not have requirements. Will I be able to use this on my computer? Speed is not an issue since I am a newbie and will but struggling through everything in the beginning. Any advise to a newbie would also be appreciated.

Yeah, I think CW7 would just about run on a P133. You'd need at least 32Mb on it and a reasonable HDD.
Don't expect too much, though - you'd be better off with an AWE card and using SoundFonts rather than going into the Audio side.
