I am having major problems syncing Cake 9 (as the master) to an ASR-X-PRO (as the slave).

I have 3 soundcards

SB PCI 64

DELTA 66

Tascam 822PCI

and for MIDI...

USB MIDISPORT 2X2

TASCAM 822PCI

OK, I am trying to track 1 song from the X-PRO to CAKE 9.

I am using the Delta 66 to import 4 tracks at a time (the entire song is 12 tracks).

I am using the Midisport 2X2 for the midi synchronization.

For the life of me, I can not get Cake 9 to start up and record the ASR X-PRO.

I have tried EVERYTHING (and read everything). I just cannot figure it out.

I'm sure I am missing something minor, but again I cannot figure this out.

P.S. I have managed to get Vegas Audio 2.0 to "track" this song. But, I don't want to use Vegas, I want to use CakeWalk 9.

I have checked all over this and other sites, and I can not figure this out.

Could somebody, please, give me a dertailed, step-by-step of what I should do (set-up pocedure) to Cake 9 and the ASR-X-PRO.

Please, :D
ASAP

Thank you very much in advance, :)

I have done Wave profilers, DMA settings playback & recording timing masters , audio, internal, buffer settings, mixing latency, multimedia properties, etc...
